On March 11, 2026, representatives from the University of Education Weingarten (Germany) visited Sungshin Women’s University to explore opportunities for academic exchange and institutional collaboration.

The visit took place at Soojung Campus and included representative of University of Education Weingarten, Ms. Barbara Mackintosh and an exchange student. They were welcomed by representatives from Sungshin Women’s University, including staff members from the International Affairs and Services Team and the Graduate School Administration Team.

During the visit, both institutions engaged in discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in student exchange programs. The meeting provided an opportunity to share perspectives on current exchange initiatives and to explore ways to further enhance academic mobility between the two universities.

In addition, the two sides exchanged views on potential collaboration at the graduate level, including opportunities for expanding exchange participation and supporting students in international academic environments.

The meeting was followed by a campus tour, during which the delegation visited key facilities such as Suharu Café and the History Hall  gaining insight into campus life and the university’s heritage.

This meeting served as a meaningful occasion to reinforce the existing partnership and to identify future directions for cooperation. Sungshin Women’s University looks forward to continued collaboration with the University of Education Weingarten in promoting global engagement and enriching international learning experiences for students.
