Representing Sungshin Women’s University were Dr. Hyung Min Lee, Dean of the Office of International and External Affairs, Assistant Professor Kim Yoo-seung of the School of Global Studies, Kim Il, Team Head of the Office of International Affairs and Services, and staff members from the international affairs team.

The visit took place at Woonjung Campus, where the delegation observed a Beauty and Fashion Design class offered by the International School of Korean Culture and Technology. The guests also took part in a makeup practice session, which offered a direct look at the university’s practice-oriented curriculum and student-centered learning environment.

Following the class, the delegation participated in a campus tour that included visits to the Beauty Industry Department practice rooms, the Art Gallery, and the Traditional Costume Museum. The tour highlighted Sungshin Women’s University’s specialized educational facilities and interdisciplinary learning environment, particularly in areas that combine global studies, Korean culture, and creative practice.

The visit also served as a meaningful opportunity for both institutions to discuss the future direction of academic exchange. In particular, the two sides explored the possibility of expanding their current partnership beyond the existing college-level MOU to a broader university-wide agreement that would include Pridi Banomyong International College.
In addition, discussions touched on the potential for academic collaboration with Sungshin Women’s University’s School of Global Studies, including possible exchanges in Korean language education, Korea-related courses, and other internationally oriented academic programs. Both institutions shared interest in gradually broadening student and academic exchange through practical and sustainable forms of cooperation.
Sungshin Women’s University expects this visit to serve as a valuable foundation for strengthening ties with Thammasat University and for promoting more active international collaboration in the future.
