Sungshin Women’s University Welcomes Representative from Augsburg University to Discuss International Exchange Programs

SEOUL, June 5, 2026 — Sungshin Women’s University (SSU) welcomed a representative from Augsburg University in the United States to its Sujeong Campus on June 5 to introduce the University and discuss opportunities to further strengthen academic and student exchange between the two institutions.

Augsburg University has maintained an active student exchange partnership with Sungshin Women’s University since 2015, based on a formal exchange agreement between the two institutions. The visit served as an opportunity to review ongoing cooperation and explore ways to expand future exchange programs.

The Augsburg University delegation was represented by Sarah Morgan, a staff member in charge of off-campus study programs in the Global Education Team. Two staff members from Sungshin Women’s University’s Office of International Affairs and Services attended the meeting on behalf of the University.

The visit began with a campus tour of the Sujeong Campus, including the University’s Central Library and History Museum. The tour provided the visiting representative with an overview of Sungshin’s academic environment, student facilities, and institutional history.

Following the tour, representatives from both universities held a meeting to discuss current and future areas of cooperation, including exchange student programs and summer school opportunities. The discussion focused on strengthening student mobility and exploring additional academic and cultural exchange initiatives that would benefit students from both institutions.

Through this visit, Sungshin Women’s University reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining long-standing partnerships with overseas universities and expanding meaningful global learning opportunities for its students.
