Sungshin Women’s University’s International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT) Holds Orientation for New International Students for Spring 2026
The International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT) at Sungshin Women’s University held an orientation for 71 newly admitted international students for the Spring 2026 semester on April 7, 2026 (Tuesday), at 3:30 p.m. in Room 110 of Sungshin Hall.

The event was attended by Dr. Hyung Min Lee, Dean of the Office of Internal and External Affairs and Head of the International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT), along with faculty members, the Associate Dean of the Office of Internal and External Affairs, and staff members from the Office of International Affairs and Services, all of whom gathered to celebrate the students’ new beginning.
In his welcoming remarks, Dean Dr. Hyung Min Lee stated,
“I sincerely welcome all of you to the International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT) at Sungshin Women’s University and encourage you as you begin this new journey in a new environment. The university will continue to provide full support to help international students successfully pursue their academic goals.”
During the orientation, students were introduced to the overall structure and academic system of the International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT), including information on graduation requirements, the scholarship system, and essential guidelines for campus life, offering practical support for their smooth adjustment to university life.

A highlight of the event was a lucky draw prepared by the faculty members of the International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT), which received an enthusiastic response from the students. Through the orientation, the new students had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of their academic program and campus life, while also receiving new student kits and various gifts, making the event both meaningful and enjoyable.


The International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT) at Sungshin Women’s University plans to continue operating a wide range of support programs to help international students adapt successfully to their studies and enjoy a fulfilling university experience.
Established in 2025 as a school dedicated exclusively to international students admitted through a foreign-student-only admission track, the International School of Korean Culture and Technology(ISKCT) currently has 118 enrolled students. The school consists of two majors:
• Global Korean Studies (with tracks in Korean Language Education and K-Culture & Entertainment)
• Beauty and Fashion Design
Through a curriculum focused on global competency and practical education, the school is committed to supporting the competitive growth and academic success of international students.
