한글누리재단이 주최하는 이번 공모전은 외국인이 자신의 언어를 한글 또는 누리한글(Nuri Hangeul) 로 표현하고 소개하는 글로벌 영상 공모전입니다. 참가자는 자신의 나라 또는 민족의 전통 음식이나 전통 놀이를 주제로 영상을 제작하여 응모할 수 있습니다.

특히 누리한글 분야는 한글누리재단이 제안한 새로운 표기 체계를 활용하여 참가자 언어의 말소리를 한글로 표현하는 분야로, 다양한 언어와 한글의 만남을 경험할 수 있는 특별한 기회를 제공합니다.

📢 Hangeul Festa 2026 

International Video Contest for Foreign Participants

The Hangeul Festa 2026 is now open for applications.

Hosted by the Hangeul Nuri Foundation, this international contest invites foreign participants to introduce their language and culture by writing their language in Hangeul or Nuri Hangeul, a writing system proposed by the foundation to represent the sounds of various world languages using Hangeul.

Participants are invited to create and submit a video introducing either a traditional food or a traditional game from their country or ethnic community.

Eligibility

• Any foreign national who can read and write Hangeul
• International students and members of multicultural families are welcome
• Korean citizens are not eligible

1. Hangeul Category
2. Nuri Hangeul Category

※ Applicants may enter only one category.

Contest Topic

Introduce either:

• A traditional food, or
• A traditional game

from your country or ethnic community.
